On April 13, the State Quality Supervision Bureau and Kaili Xintai Melting Co., Ltd. participated in the pre-examination meeting for the formulation of the national standard of "Calcium Aluminate for Water Treatment Agents" held in Zhengzhou. This is the first time that enterprises in Qiandongnan Prefecture have participated in the formulation of national standards.
The meeting was presided over by the Water Treatment Agent Branch of the National Chemical Industry Standardization Technical Committee. A total of 40 experts from 18 major domestic calcium aluminate and water purification agent companies in related industries, the School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Tongji University, and the School of Urban Construction and Environmental Engineering of Chongqing University participated The national standard of "Calcium Aluminate for Water Treatment Agents" and the industry standard working group discussion draft of "Evaluation Methods for Coagulation Performance of Water Treatment Agents" were reviewed.
The pre-examination of the standard takes the form of a sentence-by-sentence adoption for a technical review of the content of the standard. From the perspective of safeguarding their own interests and promoting the development of the industry, all relevant units fully expressed their opinions, especially on the classification and classification of product quality and its quality physical and chemical indicators, coagulation and sedimentation, and the evaluation methods of organic matter removal performance., A heated debate. Xingkai brand calcium aluminate powder produced by Kaili Xintai Company has excellent quality with an average mass fraction of alumina (calculated as Al2O3) of more than 54%, representing the highest level of quality of similar products and becoming a yardstick of the highest standard at the meeting. All this benefits from the outstanding advantage of the grade of bauxite ore in our state.
Finally, at the special invitation of the meeting, the State Quality Supervision Bureau made a special speech on the development of standardization work in the whole state and the state situation. Ms. Zhu Chuanjun, Secretary-General of the Water Treatment Agent Branch, expressed her affirmation and appreciation for Qiandongnan Prefecture's efforts in vigorously promoting standardization. She hoped that the 2011 annual meeting of the Technical Committee (more than 100 member units) and the final meeting of the two standards could be held in Qiandongnan. Participating enterprises also expressed their strong desire to visit our state.
The standard will be formed in August to solicit opinions from the community, in October to complete the final review.
At present, Kaili Xintai Melting Co., Ltd. has a market share of about 30%, and has become the main drafting unit of the national standard "Calcium Aluminate for Water Treatment Agents" with its leading position in the industry. This is also the first enterprise in our state to participate in the formulation of national standards.
Centering on the opinions of the people's Government of Qiandongnan Prefecture on strengthening Standardization work (Qiandongnan Fu Fa [2010] No. 34), on the one hand, the quality supervision department of Qiandongnan Prefecture helps enterprises to establish a sound enterprise standard system. encourage enterprises to actively adopt international standards or foreign advanced standards, and actively strive to create "enterprises with good standardization behavior"; on the other hand, support enterprises to participate in the formulation and revision of industry standards and national standards, and national standards.
